* I have to apologize, I'm sooooo behind on blogging. The classes, the holidays, visits from family and friends and so much more filled my past weeks. So, I'm going to be posting three blog posts today! Yup! Gotta get caught up.
December 8th and 9th, we had the amazingly talented, compassionate, beautiful and my dear friend, Kristen Robinson in the studio. Every time she visits, the girls go wild, and it's no surprise, considering the beauty she brings to our lives. Classes filled to the brim, we extended the number of students and still they filled...what deliciousness! Saturday night we enjoyed her Adorned and Soldered Treasures. Talk about some seriously cool bling we saw from the students. They were decadent and oh so fabulous. Sundays workshop, Sacred Houses, was fullllll of technique! We perfected the tricks for making our own molds using Susan Lenart Kazmer's Jeweler's Grade Molding Putty. We cast our molds using Paper Clay, and Kristen taught us how to cut and shape, distress and attach our finished pieces to sweet little wooden houses. There was wax and ICE Resin and oh my it was wonderful. Such a tremendous weekend and visit. I'm filled with gratitude and joy...thank you Kristen!
